What are Lot Numbers used for?
Every item that is up for auction has a Lot Number. This is a way for us and for you to keep
track of our products. It is very important for you to note the Lot Number of the item(s) you are bidding
on because sometimes we have more than one of the same item up for auction, each with a different
Lot Number. If you do not keep track of the Lot Number, you may end up winning 2 identical items,
and possibly at different prices! To make it easier to track the Lot Number, please Bookmark the page
where you are placing your bid so that when you come back to make subsequent bids, you can be sure that
you are bidding on the right item.
What does the Suggested Retail Price mean?
The suggested retail price is the manufacturer suggested retail price for the product when New. This price may not
necessarily be indicative of the current market price.
How does AutoBid work?
The Auto-Bid feature provides an extra level of convenience to increase your chances of winning a bid. By setting a maximum
bid, the Auction4it system will automatically place a bid on your behalf for that product whenever your bid is outbid. The
bid submitted on your behalf will match the competing bid, and not exceed it.
Auto-Bid will bid in the minimum required increments to ensure that you receive the best price. As an example, say you want to
submit a bid on a product for $1, and the bidding increment is $5. You know that you are willing to pay $21 for this
product, so you enter $21 as your maximum bid. By selecting a maximum bid price, you have activated the AutoBid system.
This means that AutoBid will place bids for you up until the maximum you have specified WHENEVER SOMEONE HAS EXCEEDED YOUR BID.
So in this example, say another user places a bid of $6. AutoBid will match that bid of $6 and you will have the current
winning bid. If someone else places a bid for $11, your AutoBid will match that bid of $11 and again, you will have the
current winning bid. If someone matches your maximum bid of $21, you will still have the winning bid.
It is not until someone bids an amount greater than $21 that you will have lost.
What if more than 1 person is using AutoBid? Who wins?
If you are using AutoBid and have specified a $21 maximum, when another user activates AutoBid, they will have to submit a
Bid price that exceeds your maximum in order to hold the current winning bid. You will be notified by email when this
occurs.
What if I have chosen AutoBid but then decide that I don't want to use it anymore? Can I cancel it?
Sorry, but all bids are final and non-cancelable, so bid wisely.
Can I have my order shipped to an address different from mine?
No, for customer protection we will only ship an order to an address that matches the address of the customer's
credit card.
Would it be possible for me to pick up my winning items directly from your warehouse?
Yes, we have a facility set up for customers pickups (In the Greater Toronto Area And Surrounding Area) ; please select the 'Free GTA And Surrounding Area Pickup' option at the time of bidding to take advantage of this program. If you have any problems selecting this option please contact our customer
service and they will happy to help you. For further information, please click here.
